What's Coming to Event Manager?

We are improving the user experience in Event Manager. The following features are currently under development and will be released soon.

Request on Behalf of Another User

Tenant Admins and Event Admins can designate a Requester when creating an event on someone else's behalf.

When an admin creates an event for another person, they will be able to assign that person as the Requester. The designated Requester will receive event notifications, have full access to manage the event, and will remain informed throughout the event life cycle. Both the admin and the Requester can continue to access the event.

Improved Task Management Experience

Find, select, and confirm tasks faster when configuring an event in the Event Form itself.

The task management experience during event setup will be improved to make it easier to identify and select the right tasks as your task lists grow. This will reduce setup time and improve accuracy when configuring events. It will help in:

  • Faster task setup: Add, edit, and delete tasks without leaving the form.

  • Smarter task type selection: Get the recently used task types at the top of the dropdown for quicker selection.

  • Mandatory location tasks auto-populate: The location selected with required tasks appears in real time those tasks.

  • More admin control: Configure if tasks are required, customize the task label, and have control button visibility per form type.

Bulk Add Categories to Events

Add categories to multiple events at once.

Instead of updating categories one event at a time, you will be able to apply categories to multiple events in a single action. This will maintain consistency and reduce the time needed to manage event categories across large event lists.
